Hi, I’m Gordo
I’m an animator and director based on the drizzly coast of Scotland. Growing up around old castles with myths and legends really shaped my interest in fantasy and the art of telling stories.
I gravitate toward the weird and wonderful, seeking out colour, patterns and beauty from the world around me.
I’ve worked with clients big and small, on projects for Supercell, SkyKids, BBC, Universal Studios and the National Geographic.
I have also been a jury member for the HB Film Festival, Scotland Loves Anime and the RTS Scotland Awards.
When I’m not in the studio, you can find me cooking a tasty meal or swimming in lochs

Clanimation
I co-founded Clanimation with Abi Lamb and together we create monthly networking events for artists, designers and freelancers working in the Scottish animation industry.
Over time, Clanimation has evolved beyond a networking event and has grown into a wee community that blends both industry professionals and newcomers.
